How to apply
Admission to Ugenya DPTTC is a clear and transparent process. Students may be placed by the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) or apply directly by submitting KCSE results to the college.
With the Ministry of Education’s updated requirements (2023), applicants with a minimum mean grade of C (plain) are now eligible to apply for our Diploma in Primary Teacher Education or Diploma in Early Childhood Teacher Education programs.


These intensive three-year diploma courses cover extensive curriculum and practicum hours directed by the Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC). Students also complete a focused three-month micro-teaching prerequisite before undertaking teaching practice.
